It's that time of year again - hope to see you at the fair!

I don't know how it got to be the end of summer so quickly, but the good news about the change in season is that it is time once again for the Common Ground Fair in Unity.  The fair starts tomorrow, and I am excited to be working at NRCM's booth in the environmental concerns tent.  I love going to the fair to meet new people and talk to them about the important work the Natural Resources Council of Maine does to protect Maine's environment, and I like to meet members and supporters so that I can thank them face-to-face for their great work to protect Maine's environment.

What is your favorite part of the Common Ground Fair?  Do you remember when it used to be in Windsor and the traffic was backed up for miles and miles?  Do you remember the first year they had it in Unity?  What are your favorite fair memories? 

If you haven't been to the fair, you should definitely come this year.  The weather is supposed to be great, the food is wonderful, and the crafts, animals and entertainment are always out of this world!
