Charlotte Hollenberg

I was forced out of my shoreland property on River Road, Newcastle, Maine when the taxes tripled and were due for another increase. Now only millionaires can afford to live on river Road. My mother owned the property since 1932, but I couldn't stay. It seems to me that the local people always suffer, and have been forced from the coast further and further inland. I think many of the people of Greenville will be forced to leave also. Then there are the environmental issues; a big development will injure wildlife and destroy their habitat. More wilderness needs to be preserved so future generations can see and experience it.
